DEAR FAMILY & FRIENDS,
On the day, exactly 8 years after our first kiss, we are getting married and hope that you want to be part of our wedding day. Our wedding will take place at Kunsthal Brantebjerg ‘i det skønne Rørvig’, close to our sommerhus, where we love spending time together. The ceremony will be at Brantebjerg on Saturday 28th of August in the afternoon, followed by a reception, dinner and of course a party. On Sunday 29th of August, the morning after, we will also host a breakfast at Brantebjerg. Anticipating a beautiful late Danish summer, we are hoping to organise a true summerhus weekend together with all of our guests.
There are different options for accommodations to spend the weekend in Rørvig, including booking a room in Rørvig Centeret, renting a nearby sommerhus or pitching your tent, caravan or camper at Brantebjerg. For those willing to enjoy the full weekend with us in Rørvig, we will host a casual get together on Friday evening, and an activity on the morning of our wedding day. We are very much looking forward to spending this special day with our closest friends and family, and hope to see you in Rørvig next summer!

LOCATION
Our wedding will take place at Kunsthal Brantebjerg. It is a beautiful old farm turned into an art gallery, hosted by Pawel and Pernille. With Pawel’s parents settling there from Poland in the 1970s, the place has a lot of history and has become an experience of art, food and social gathering.

WHERE TO STAY
As our wedding will take place at a considerable distance from Copenhagen, and will probably require some (international) travel, we want to make sure that you land well in Rørvig. Therefore, we will list different options and accommodations for your overnight stay around Brantebjerg.
Stay in Rørvig Centret. There is a hotel and congress center in Rørvig, which is walking distance from Rørvig havn. The location is very central, and close to the casual gathering on Friday evening We have managed to pre-book a number of rooms. A double room for 1 night costs XXXX, and a double room for 2 nights costs XXXX.
Rent a nearby Summerhus. It is possible to rent nearby summerhouses via Airbnb and Booking.com. Often these summerhouses would have room for 4-6 people, so bookings can be done together. When booking a nearby summerhouse, it is recommended that you try to reserve one close to the location or to Rørvig home (Location: Brantebjerg or Rørvig Havn). Pitch your tent, caravan or camping at Brantebjerg. At Brantebjerg there is an abundance of grass, and you are welcome to pitch your tent, bring your camper, caravan or sleep directly under the stars.
TRAVEL
Rørvig and Brantebjerg are located on the Danish Peninsula Odsherred, not too far, but still more than 1 hour drive from the center of Copenhagen and not very well connected to public transportation.
To make sure no one is restricting him or herself from partying, by driving home after the wedding, we will make sure there is transportation to the wedding on Saturday afternoon and from the wedding back to Rørvig Centret or nearby summerhouses on Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
However, we will ask you to organise transportation to and from Rørvig yourself. There are 4 options to arrive in Rørvig from Copenhagen:
By car. International guests can rent a car at the airport or in Copenhagen
By train and ferry. Take the S-Tog to Hillerød, transfer to a small train to Hundested Havn and from there take the ferry across to Rørvig.
By train and bus. Take the train to Holbæk, and from there take a bus to Rørvig.
By bike. Just cycle 65km to the ferry
